Abstract
- The article investigates the physical function and mental health changes from baseline to 6 months after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery. The study found that patients with severe chronic kidney disease (CKD) showed no improvement in physical function despite modification of baseline scores while improvements in mental function were noted in all stages of CKD. The findings suggest that additional studies are needed to improve decision making process in patients following CABG.
