Abstract: This article presents information about the special relationship between Clemson University football player, Ray Ray McElrathbey, and his younger brother Fahmarr. McElrathbey got custody of his 11-year-old brother rather than let him be placed in a foster home. The brothers' mother is a cocaine addict and the father is a gambling addict who is currently incarcerated. Ray Ray was given a waiver by the NCAA so that he can receive aid to help care for his bother.
