Abstract
- The article discusses the friendship between the two soldiers George Patton and Dwight Eisenhower. Patton is described as a conceited and spoiled child, an erratic genius, given to great outbursts of energy and flashes of brilliant insight. Eisenhower, on the other hand, has a steady mind, takes everything into account when looking at a problem, weighs possible alternatives, and decides on a course of action.
