Abstract

The article reports on the statistical flaw in scientific papers from two scientific journals, "BMJ" and "Nature." The revelation that more than a one-third of all papers published in "Nature" in 2001 contained statistical errors prompted the journal to introduce new checks on quality. At the "BMJ," four papers was found to contain flaws.
