The article presents the author's comments about the article "Death, Hope, and Sex: Life-History Theory and the Development of Reproductive Strategies," by James S. Chisholm, published in the present issue of the journal. The author says that Chisholm has proposed an evolutionary psychological theory in his article that includes human evolutionary biology and the social sciences. According to her, he has clearly stated that early stress does not determine a person's reproductive strategy.
