Abstract
- The article focuses on the works of the Slovenian rock group Laibach, the musical component of the multidisciplinary art collective Neue Slowenische Kunst. The author argues that Laibach employed the contradictory context of former Yugoslavia and the emergent Slovenian State in order to interrogate totalitarianisms such as state socialism and fascism as well as the totalitarian dimensions of late capitalism and its global popular culture.
