Cal cot buys SWIG cotton warehouses.

The article reports on the acquisition of Calcot Corp., the largest cotton marketing cooperative in the West U.S., of Southwestern Irrigated Cotton Growers Association's (SWIG) cotton warehouses. Calcot agreed to purchase SWIG's cotton warehouses in Artesia and Las Cruces, New Mexico and in Fabens, Texas. Calcot President Bob Norris says there are still details to be worked out to finalize a formal merger.
