Meeting Overview.

The article highlights the 11th International Meeting on Ferroelectricity held in Brazil on September 5-9, 2005. The meeting was supported by academic institutions and scientific societies in Brazil and Argentina. The participation of more than 590 scientists and students was a colorful demonstration that ferroelectricity is still attractive in basic research and technological applications. The total number of accepted contributions was 500 including plenary talks and posters.
