Abstract
- The article reports on the publication of a government paper titled "Environmental Protection in China (1996-2005)" by the Chinese Information Office of the State Council. The environmental protection efforts in the country are introduced by the white paper. The number of environmental protection administration departments at different levels in the country is 3,226.
