Abstract
- The article presents information about the training of dental hygienists to practice proper body mechanics in doing the job in the U.S. Proper body positioning is essential in the work of a dental health practitioner to avoid neck, back and shoulder pains. This study has been introduced to the curriculum of dental hygiene students due to the frequent incidence and complaints of the practitioners.
