The article focuses on the issues discussed at a meeting of the Resources Assessment, Preservation and Access Committee of the Council on Botanical and Horticultural Libraries Inc. in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. on May 3, 2000. The committee discussed the publication of the papers featured at the symposium on the preservation of botanical literature at the International Botanical Congress. The responses to the non-book survey by CBHL members were discussed. The survey written for archival collections will be reviewed.
