Abstract

Shows that S-layer homology (SLH) domains are needed to anchor both the S-layer protein and the exocellular xylanase XynA from Thermoanaerobacterium thermosulfurigenes EM1 to the cell wall. Deglycosylation of the S-layer protein; DNA sequencing results.
