- Examines modern accounts of four-dimensionalism and the identity of an object across time through the works of Henry of Ghent and Bonaventure. Agreement of both on the general medieval association of temporal succession with temporal extension; Bonaventure's account of the `Aevum'; Henry's attempt to refute Bonaventure's view; Replacement theory; Theological corollaries of Henry's view.
