The Stigma Debate.

The article reports on the different opinions on the editorial which argued that perpetuating the contention that the IT profession's reputation for being filled with socially inept introverts is well-deserved is harmful to the IT industry. One reader contended that the message young people should get is that people in that profession don't hug walls, but they knock them down. Another suggested that the editor's view is skewed. Steve Litt, Linux technologist and technical author, expressed his appreciation for the said editorial.
