Abstract
- The article introduces a series of papers on the political situation in the Czech Republic as of July 2006. An article deals with the decline in the popularity of the Czech communist party after the parliamentary elections. Political analyst Jiri Pehe argues that the inclusion within the democratic process is the only way to transform this party towards modernity.
