Abstract: The article discusses the findings of a survey on the energy conservation habits of individual engineers in Great Britain. Some of the energy conservation techniques of engineers mentioned include the use of eco-cycles on washing machines and dishwashers and turning off computers, printers and faxes at work overnight and during weekends. Respondents also discussed the environmental considerations that might lead people to change their behavior in terms of energy use.
