Abstract: This article discusses research being done on an adverse effect of isotretinoin. It references a study by A. L. Isenstein and colleagues in the July 2006 issue of the "British Journal of Dermatology." During treatment with isotretrinoin for acne, a female-to-male transsexual suffered vaginal bleeding. The administration of the drug is described. The results of the physical and laboratory examination conducted on the patient are presented.
