Abstract
- The article reports that computer animators have discovered a way to trace light rays through a realistic computer model of human hair, allowing them to automatically recreate the sheen of blond hair. The light refracts through and bounces off different areas of blond hair, illuminating both the individual strand and those surrounding it.
