Abstract

The article focuses on a Ferris wheel on display at Chicago World's Fair. The upright wheel was like 270 feet big gigantic statue. The mass production of the wheel was done by Eli Bridge Co. It manufactured different sizes of Ferris wheels, the smallest was 16 feet high, and the others were 40 feet and 55 feet taller. All the four wheels are movable and portable. Most of these wheels are brought by the American ride men and 43 had gone abroad in the carnivals of Africa and New Zealand.
