Abstract

The article investigates on the relationship among physical activity, fat mass development and the consumption of sugar drinks in health of girls and boys. Observation was conducted to boys and girls who were 8 to 19 years of age assessing their fat mass, fat-free mass and physical activity, annually. A questionnaire was used to assessed their food and sugar drinks intake. Results showed that there was no relationship between fat mass and sugar drinks while physical activity in boys should be increased to prevent fat mass development.
