Abstract
- The article talks about the computer network protocol 802.1X. It offers information on its uses in security appliances and virtual local area network (VLAN)-based quaratine. The three system components of 802.1X setup, the supplicant, the authenticator and the authentication server, are discussed. It also discusses wireless LAN authentication and the protocol's focus on improved device integrity.
