Abstract: This article reports on the move of Software AG and Fujitsu to jointly develop and market release the new UDDI c3.0-compliant versions of CentraSite, a registry/repository that is tuned for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) metadata management. This move by Software AG and Fujitsu was a result of failure of SOA players BEA, IBM and Oracle to pay attention to registry issues, as they are better known for their application servers, development tools and enterprise service bus. The indifference of these mayor SOA players opened a market for small vendors such as Flashline, Infravio, SOA Software and Systinet.
