Abstract

The article presents the author's reactions to some aspect of his work in the Council for Exceptional Children. His insights on the performance of Bo-Peep as the new membership chairman is provided. On his visit to Valley Forge, he studied the motto "justice" and "mercy" on William Penn's great seal, the two words which he considers as basic to the growth and development of all civilized nations. The relation of these words in the equal educational opportunity for all children is discussed. He mentions the preparations for the regional gatherings of the Council at Oklahoma and at Baltimore City. For the upcoming thanks giving celebration, he suggests that we use this opportunity to thanks God.
