Abstract
- This article describes the challenges facing Andrew Burke, the new vice president of marketing for Diamond Foods Co. As Diamond Foods' new vice president for marketing, Burke will cull from a diversified background to shepherd the company's nut brands at a time of consumer clamor for healthier snacks. Based in Stockton, California, Burke will helm marketing initiatives for the Diamond, Emerald and recently acquired Harmony brands at a time when food purveyors are facing intensifying pressure from advocacy groups and federal regulators to roll out healthier snacks.
