Abstract: The article focuses on camp programs for GLBT youth in the U.S. There are fewer camp programs being organized for GLBT teenagers compared with the camps being organized for GLBT adults and for the children of GLBT parents. However, the Triangle Foundation of Detroit recently announced plans for a summer camp for GLBT and allied youths based in New York, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Seattle. Workshops being conducted in camps include those about HIV/AIDS, body image and gay history. The article also offers information on the documentary film Camp Out.
