EWMA 2006.

Information about several papers discussed at a conference on wound management is presented. The objective of the event was to increase the focus on the vital areas of innovation, education and implementation within wound healing and wound management. During the conference, the latest position document on the management of wound infection was launched by the European Wound Management Association. Furthermore, a number of abstracts of research were also presented.
