PRESSURE COOKER.

The article examines the psychological problems, which was sought to have developed from pressure and expectations, of some children in China. The author explores the life of Cen Ceng, a primary school student in Beijing, who also experience this kind of problem. The author points out that the problem may be attributed by the typical lifestyle of some of Chinese families, parents pushing their children to study and become involved in activities in an effort to gain admission in a prestigious university and eventually get a good job.
