Abstract

The article discusses the importance of hearing protection of employees at workplaces. Suggestions are provided to safety managers for developing an appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Safety managers need to pay attention to noise-related tasks that are not frequent. They should take assistance from their employees regarding the improvements required in training methods, assistance and PPE. It should be ensured that the training and awareness are relevant for workplace noise hazards. Documentation of the training should also be done.
