Springer Launches eBooks Program.

The article reports on the plan of Springer to launch its eBook program at the American Library Association conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana from June 21 to 24, 2006. The redesigned SpringerLink will give subscribers access to about 10,000 Springer eBooks. eBooks and eBook Series titles are available as searchable PDF documents, while eReference Works are available through HTML. Libraries can purchase a complete collection or one of the 12 topic categories. The program will also link to an OPAC system.
