Abstract: The author looks at the growing tourism industry in Doha, Qatar. The author reviews how more than 100 buildings and towers are going up in the city. The article includes comments from Nick Bashkiroff, development director for the country's leading construction firm, known as United Development Company. A comparison of Doha to the world's leading tourism destinations is presented.
