Abstract: This article discusses a convention of television executives and advertising representatives in New York City. Television executives from NBC, CBS, FOX, UPN, and ABC developed presentations for advertisers that included celebrity guests, such as Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey, in an attempt to solicit advertising contracts before the start of the 2006 fall television season.
