Abstract
- Comments on the views of researcher R.A. Walling that the results on energy dissipation by MOV arresters might be irrelevant to an actual grounded power distribution system. Walling's claim that in such a system negligible lower-frequency continuing current that would flow through the arresters; Significant lower-frequency current flowing through a 10 kilovolt MOV arrester.
