Abstract: The article presents news briefs on the agriculture sector in Great Britain as of April 2006. Several farmers have reported some errors in the paperwork they have received from the Rural Payments Agency. The British Potato Council has been concerned over a number of seed potato growers who are being put off signing up to the industry's ring rot safe haven certification scheme. Farmer Steve Mitchell has set up a herd of 150 Asian buffalo in 2005 to meet buffalo demand in the country.
