Abstract

Shows that a passive robotic wrist, of mixed mechanical design, can be programmed to execute a wide range of force-control laws useful in automated assembly. Synthesis of joint-space matrices; Sensitivity analysis of the task-space accommodation matrices; Use of task-space variables to describe a matrix suitable for a given task.
