Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the concept of innovation as it relates to computer science. According to the author, 90% percent of innovative initiatives fail. The author discusses what it takes to help make a valuable technological innovation become widely used and beneficial. It is the authors view that with practice, one can become a more competent innovator. Various innovations practices are discussed. It is suggested that all innovation need not be unusual, good, big, fast or radical.
