Abstract

The author reflects on the decision of dictator Nikita Khrushchev's coup to dismiss Vyacheslav Molotov from office and two others which according to some Russian experts will put an end on the Cold War. It has been claimed that the heroic resistance of the Hungarians had caused a sold blow to the prestige of Communism in the non-Communist and neutral world.
