Abstract

The article reports that the living and regioregular polymerization of α-olefins using rac-3/methylaluminoxane (MAO), a C2-symmetric catalyst based on bulky chiral anilines. The work demonstrates that controlled chain-walking coupled with living behavior allows for the synthesis of ethylene-propylene copolymers with tailored molecular weight and ethylene content.
