Abstract

The article presents a study on behavioral intervention in a student with a dual diagnosis of deafness and autism spectrum disorder/pervasive developmental disorder (ASD/PDD). The study was conducted to inform teachers of deaf or hard of hearing (HDD) students the significance of acquiring knowledge about practices connected with applied behavior analysis as a potent tool for interfering therapeutically with children having dual diagnoses of hearing loss with an additional ASD/PDD disability. The researchers suggested instructors of HDD to apply behavior intervention strategies for them to provide correct, research-based interventions.
