Abstract
- The article relates the author's experience in visiting the commemoration hall for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre in China during the Sino-Japanese Conflict. When he saw the pictures of the victims, his unanswered question popped up again in his mind as to why it had to happen. He concluded that those memories have not faded. The victims' monument cautions the world that the tragedy can never happen again.
