Abstract

Flavonoids are phenolic compounds that occur in most plants. They are found basically in fruits and vegetables. Flavonoids have drawn attention in relation to their antioxidative activity. Knowledge of such compounds offers a number of opportunities in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food processing industry.
