Abstract

The article focuses on the relationship of living space with family relationships. Significantly, it is viewed that the way family organize their living space is an indicator of family relationships. The unchanging physical shape and organization of houses are historical, cultural, economic, and family constructions. Furthermore, therapists are like families because they do not see what they do not see since they are partly blind. The therapeutic task illuminates the organization of family bonds, provides insight into the causes of family suffering as exemplified in a given clinical sample.
