Abstract
- The article reports on development of new high-speed computer chip to revolutionize gaming technology in Australia. The Cell chip, based on a design inspired by supercomputers, runs at least 10 times as fast as Intel's most powerful Pentium chip. Cell boasts a staggering fiftyfold advantage in handling graphics-intensive applications.
