Abstract
- Discusses the error in assigning blame to the Serbs as a whole for the atrocities committed in Kosovo, and calls for Serbs to hold their own leaders to account. Refusal of the author to feel guilt for being Serbian; Assertion that not all the blame should fall to the Serbs, because of the suffering of the Serbs at the hands of Muslim Albanians in the 500-year Ottoman rule; Loss of support for Milosevic as a result of the crimes; Call for the media to be freed and for the arrest of the war criminals.
