Abstract
- The article focuses on the move of Hewlett-Packard (HP) to re-enter the retail printing market as of February 27, 2006. According to HP digital photography marketing director Kalle Marsal, the company dedicated a division to grow its retail printing business. Marsal is confident that the fourth generation inkjet technology of HP is better than the dye-sublimation technique of its competitors. The solution system of the company will consist of a new kiosk, the Photosmart Express station, and the Photosmart Studio. HP will either sell the system or lease them to retailers.
