The editorial focuses on target vessel revascularization (TVR) and in-stent restenosis (ISR). The results of clinical trials, such as TAXUS V ISR whose patients had paclitaxel-eluting stents and Sirolimus-Eluting Stent with Vascular Brachytherapy for the Treatment of In-Stent Restonisis (SISR), indicate outcomes from drug-eluting stent implantation are better than those using brachytherapy.
