Abstract: The article presents information on a national competition "The Next Great Prime Minister," held in Canada. The winner, Deirdra McCracken was a 24-year-old student working toward her master's degree in political science at the University of Laval, in Quebec. Four former Canadian prime ministers fired tough questions at McCracken and four other students who were vying for the title, along with a $50,000 prize and an internship.
