The article focuses on a new approach to use in presenting material to children. The concepts to be developed relate to members of the family, relatives they have visited, and the relatives who visit them. The aims of the first lesson that relate to members of the family are to develop the concept of who make up the members of the family and to develop the generalization that most families are made up in the same manner. The aim of the second lesson that relates the relatives they have visited is to the develop the concept of relatives as members of the family group.
