Abstract
- The article focuses on Great Britain's Department of Health (DOH) guidelines that has been introduced in March 2001. The purpose of the DOH guidelines is to improve research quality and safeguard the public by enhancing the ethical and scientific quality of research. The impact of this governance has been discussed. It has been emphasized that the introduced guidelines have opened opportunity for research into the occupations of general public subjects.
