The article focuses on the search of the film, music, and software industries for special measures to counter the rampant piracy in China. The Press and Publication Administration, Ministry of Information Industry, State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the State Copyright Bureau have issued a document designed to combat network piracy. The Ministry of Culture is also preparing a network-monitoring platform to provide real time monitoring of the contents and spread of network culture.
