Abstract
- The article presents a study on the approaches in measuring human travel in the U.S. A group of theoretical physicists use the dispersal of dollar bills within the U.S. as a proxy measurement for human movement. Most cash transactions are carried out locally, but every now and again someone departs and uses the bill at a distant location as a result of the research.
